History of Emerald Lodge #457

On May 23, 1993, Emerald Lodge #457 (Previously Emerald Coast #457) was re-issued its charter from the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Florida.  The early history and work of the Lodge is unclear. The officers at this time were Bro. John Cooper, Worshipful Master; Bro. Curtis Lamb, Senior Warden; Bro. Joseph Marshall, Junior Warden.

Since our re-establishment, we have been a pillar of support in the city of Miami and its surrounding communities by supporting several charities and actively involved in providing financial support for young students pursuing higher education. Our lodge has been composed of men who consistently dedicate themselves to community services for which our organization is best known. The members of Emerald #457 remain dedicated to being examples of what it is to display Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.  All this we have gladly done and will continue to do.

We presently meet at 7:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month in the St. Arthur’s O.E.S. Chapter Masonic Hall at 680 NW 52nd Street Miami, Florida 33127.
